As I’ve stated before, my other half often enriches my world with his wit, charm, and wisdom; the latter of which shines through here. Here is the next book I’m going out to buy (released today!). It’s the new book by a dedicated and delightful author, Cindy Pon. Cindy is a member of both the Absolute Write forums and Verla Kay’s “Children’s Writers & Illustrators Message Board” and gives lots of wonderful advice and support to budding authors. I’ve been following her journey for some time now and am thrilled for her new release!

She is currently hosting a contest over at her blog. The prizes are as follows: an original framed brushpainting by Cindy (she’s an incredible artist) along with a signed copy of her novel, and a $100 gift card also offered with a signed copy of her novel.
